Venue, dates and times

Our sprints venue for this year has been generously provided by Brave Digital (same venue as last year). They are 4km from the Wanderers club at 8 Chester Road, Greenside East, Johannesburg.

Sprint Topics

• wafer, the Django application driving the PyCon ZA website.

You can submit a sprint topic either by the talk submission process or by emailing team@za.pycon.org with the details.

What was worked on

• wafer
  • Fixed a couple of bugs with the "highlight-venue" option and the current view display of the schedule
  • Merged the reworked schedule structure designed at the 2018 sprints
• PyCon ZA funding - an extension to wafer for funding applications
  • Created project
  • Implemented basic model and UI features
• Conference Admin
  • Asking speakers for talk slides and getting those up on Slidedeck.
  • Sorting out invoices and payments for various things.
